Support the employment of veterans and spouses/partners in the Armed Forces Community
We recognise the unique skills and qualities that members and former members of the armed forces acquire and demonstrate during their recruitment, training and service, and we will work with the Career Transition Partnership, RBL, VETS, X-Forces, The Officers’ Association, the RMA and the RFEA to support the employment of service leavers.
We also support the employment of service partners and spouses and commit to providing them with flexibility during and after their spouse’s deployment. We will look to provide opportunities to partners and spouses wherever we can.
Facilitate Reserves service
We will facilitate the service of any employee who is a member of the Armed Forces Reserves by providing flexible working conditions and additional paid/unpaid leave.
Promote the Armed Forces
We are an Armed Forces-friendly company, and we will promote this fact to our staff, customers, partners and the public.
National events and charities
We support Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal Day and Remembrance activities, and will support Armed Forces charities with fundraising and volunteering.
Commercial support
We will offer appropriate discounts to members of the Armed Forces Community and veteran owned businesses in recognition of their service in defence of the realm.
